History:

Bull were developed in 19th century England for a specific purpose—fighting.  It was created by crossing the Bulldog and various , especially the now extinct White English Terrier.  What resulted was an agile, courageous dog that would stand up to anything.  When sports were finally outlawed, fanciers began to discover its other virtues.  The White Bull Terrier was the first variety.  Now there are also Colored ones, although they are not as popular. The White Cavalier is one of the founding breeds in the American Kennel Club (AKC).
